What kind of cultural business hotel is coming to Fukuoka? Base Layer Hotel will open a new location.

The food is good, the accessibility is good. Fukuoka, a city that nurtures its own unique culture, is a city full of attractions that you should visit. And in this area, a new hotel called "BASE LAYER HOTEL FUKUOKA" will open as one of the potential travel bases.

“Base Layer Hotel, a ”cultural business hotel," chose Nishiki, Nagoya, as its first location and launched in July last year. The hotel was created as a base for fun in the city and has a slightly different concept than other business hotels. This perspective is one of the reasons it seems to be gaining a core fan base.

Fukuoka was chosen as the next location. There are 126 rooms, ranging from compact business trip rooms to family rooms and comfort force rooms. The former is casual with perforated boards, while the latter two incorporate Japanese modern style with "free-form chairs" designed by Shigeru Uchida.

There is also a twin room with a sauna. The sauna with a button-type wax function, the space for conditioning, and the bedding with "Brain Sleep" pillows and mattresses that prevent steaming will make your body comfortable even if it is overheated.

The bed linens, pajamas, towels, and bath mats in the guest rooms are by Fruit of the Loom, the air purifier is by Cadeau, the chairs are by Clarin, and the speakers are by Seyer Pavé, making for a lineup that will appeal to those who love it.

The hotel also has an original convenience store open 24 hours a day. In addition to original goods, there are items that are useful on the road, such as a shoe care set by "Jason Mark," drinks selected by "Kawakubo Sake Shop," a liquor store in Itoshima, Fukuoka, and local snacks from Kyushu.

The lounge space will be equipped with the "ON Series" sound system jointly developed by Ojas of New York and For N of Norway, and will serve as a cafe during the day and a bar at night. Athletia, which has been introduced as an amenity in some guest rooms, will also be available on the sixth floor.
