Do you know Simon Baker, SIX, an indispensable figure in the early days of punk? He was a member of THE BROMLEY CONTINGENT, which was the SS of Sex Pistol, after exchanging ideas with Malcolm McLaren. He was an important figure in shaping the youth culture that came to be known as punk.
In the midst of the fusion of culture and fashion created by Vivienne Westwood, he held a solo exhibition in 2002 of portraits of punks and other people with whom he had close relationships. In 2014, he released a photo book titled "PUNK'S DEAD". In 2016, armed with a deep understanding of clothing, he launched a collection under the name "AKA SIX" by Simon Baker.

And here is the latest look from "AKA Six. As seen in the scarves and jackets with text, the punk approach is at the core of the lineup, but the items are clean enough to be worn in everyday life. It is a brilliant lineup that softly neutralizes the punk griminess.

Simon Barker's clothes do not continue to live as so-called nostalgic and stubborn punks, but have a sense of balance that is in tune with today's times. We look forward to seeing more of his work in the future.
