The spirit of Dries Van Noten, once called the "magician of color," seems to live on in this product.
I thought so when I saw the beautiful gradient-colored glass bottles.
This is the newest addition to the "Dries Van Noten Beauty" Hand & Body Collection. It follows on from the already popular fragrances.
The lineup includes a liquid soap that envelops the skin with a fine lather, a body lotion that penetrates quickly without stickiness, and a hand cream that is light and comfortable to apply. The coloring of each package visually represents the three fragrances.
From the top, Pepper & Rose, Basil & Cypress, and Soi & Amber. Hand Cream ¥7,920, Liquid Soap ¥13,200, Body Lotion ¥15,840
The fragrance of "Basil & Hinoki" is one that complements fresh basil with cypress and cedarwood.
Pepper & Rose is a floral scent of damask rose accented with spicy pink and black pepper. The last notes of cistus and musk are said to linger.
Soie & Amber" is a cross between the scents of roasted chestnut and Centifolia rose, with the addition of balsamic resin for a hint of sweetness.
They all contain rose hip oil, the iconic ingredient of Dries Van Noten Beauty, sweet almond oil, and jasmine extract to calm and condition the skin. The vegan formula is said to blend well with all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Liquid soap and body lotion bottles are not used up, but refills are also available. Another key point is the choice of recyclable aluminum tubes for the hand cream.
The Hand & Body Collection is already on sale. It is available at Dries Van Noten's Aoyama, Newman Takanawa, Seibu Ikebukuro, Hankyu Umeda, Kyoto BAL, and official online store.
This is a new way to enjoy this brand that goes beyond just dressing up. It is ideal for use by yourself or as a gift for someone close to you.
