Drawn in by the elegant braiding, I picked up the “Peter Walk Sandal” by Loro Piana.
If you look closely, you’ll see that the strap tapers toward the heel and flows seamlessly into the ankle strap. Thanks to this tapered design, the shoe beautifully accentuates the natural shape of your foot while providing a snug, enveloping fit.
The black-dyed edges make those contours stand out clearly.
The ankle strap is engraved with the familiar LP initial logo. The hand-stitching at the joint is also a nice touch.

The material is a fine-grained suede whose quality is evident at a glance. I’m told it has undergone a special treatment to enhance its durability. The color is “Black Coffee.” Now that you mention it, the shade does indeed remind me of dark-roast coffee.
While featuring an open-toe design, only a tiny bit of the toes peeks out. These are sandals that exude elegance in every way.
A beautiful shape that begins with a slight gap between the stems.
