Before I knew it, half the year had already passed, and we’ve entered the second half. The rainy season is finally over, and summer is in full swing. It’s time for short-sleeved clothes to take center stage in our wardrobes.
If you're going to add something to your outfit during the time of year when your style is at its simplest, I think a bracelet or necklace might be the way to go.
That’s where HERMÈS fashion jewelry comes in. Among its impressive lineup—which includes leather bracelets and other pieces that each exude their own unique character—the “Téléom” series truly stands out.
If you look closely, you’ll see that the chain is made up of links formed from buffalo horn. Apparently, each one was cut by hand and then carefully polished to bring out its natural, deep, beautiful color.
A neat row of buffalo horn links.
The bracelet has 21 links, and the necklace has 49. As they sway in time with the wearer’s movements, both pieces seem to keep a steady rhythm.
The brass chain is fastened with a clasp featuring an anchor motif. We’ve also incorporated this design—where a bar is threaded through the links to secure the chain—into the “Teleom” collection.
The links that hold the bar in place were also made from buffalo horn.
"Teleom" has a understated look, yet it also exudes an alternative vibe. I was surprised to hear that its motif is the abacus—after all, the abacus is something we’re all very familiar with.
