The Daikanyama Photo Fair, which brings together galleries, bookstores, and publishers who are leaders in the world of art photography and art photobooks, will be held again this year, this time for the third time, and for the first time, an exhibition of photography books, "The Photobook" will be held.

Focusing on the history of Japanese photo books, which have undergone a unique transition in the postwar period, the exhibition will be expanded with keywords such as media, design, and printing technology, and will also feature guest curator Ryuichi Kaneko, a photographer, who will introduce the appeal of photo books from various perspectives.
Other events include relay talks by photographers who discuss their collections and the backgrounds behind them.

Curators from the J. Paul Getty Museum and the Tate Gallery will visit Japan for various programs during the exhibition period, and will discuss the present and future of photography in Japan and around the world through talk sessions with leading Japanese photographers and those with a deep knowledge of the history of photography in Japan. This is an event that photography lovers will not want to miss.
