LOEWEThe origins of the company "ROBE" date back to 1846, when a group of Spanish craftsmen opened a leather workshop in Madrid. The turning point in the journey from a humble workshop to a world-class brand came with the arrival of German artisan Enrique Loewe Rosberg, who was impressed by the craftsmanship of the workshop.
Loewe's craftsmanship, which began with cigar cases and coin cases, steadily gained support, and in 1892, Loewe opened its first directly managed store in Madrid's Avenida del Príncipe, and soon after, Alfonso XIII bestowed on the brand the title of royal warrantee. After the war, the company turned its focus to a lifestyle brand, but in 1975, it introduced the "Amazona" bag, which still reigns as a standard item, and once again declared that leather goods form the core of the brand.
Nappa (lamb skin) is an indispensable leather for Loewe, and has been used in all of its products, starting with the "Nappa Collection" of bags introduced in 1979.
This season's "it items" are hiking jackets and aviator jackets. The approach of reinterpreting rugged outerwear with luxurious materials has become an established style, and Loewe has jumped to the forefront with this two-top.
