Products made of noumé leather change their color as they are used, and the act of using them makes us rediscover the act of using them again.
The "case study" event focuses on this aspect and exhibits the various processes of change that occur over the years and through usage. For the third time, the event will be held jointly at the flagship store "Sukima" and the Shinjuku flagship store of "The Conran Shop" in order to exhibit the aging process of small articles for the first time.
At "Sukima," leather shoes, including the classic MANUAL INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS collection, will be on display and for sale. At "The Conran Shop" Shinjuku main store, they will offer a wide variety of lifestyle goods from interior to accessories, such as shaker boxes, wall clocks, and wallets made of vegetable tanned nub leather.
The exhibition is already underway and will run until Sunday, November 12. Please visit the two venues to see the different expressions of leather in new and aged leather, shoes and accessories.
