When looking at vintage clothes, everyone can’t help but imagine, “What if this detail were on that garment…?” This jacket is the result of taking that wishful thinking and making it a reality. YOKE and ELIMINATOR have collaborated to create this leather jacket.
The design is based on the track jacket featured in 〈York〉’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. It combines details from different eras—the front from the first model and the back from the third model—to create a single jacket.
The length varies between the front and back, and the pocket positions have been adjusted to suit each model. While it looks as if garments from different eras have been forcibly combined, the fact that it still works as a cohesive single garment is part of its charm.
The body is crafted from cracked sheep leather. Finished in a deep black, the surface pigment gradually wears away with repeated wear, revealing the underlying color. In other words, the piece isn’t complete the moment you buy it—the real story begins once you start wearing it.
Rather than simply nostalgically clinging to the old, this piece bridges different eras to create something new. What’s more, its character evolves the more you wear it. Having a garment like this as autumn begins is sure to make fashion even more enjoyable.
