Atelier Makuri in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa has expanded its space. Now renamed Atelier Makuri Commons, it offers a selection of eyewear, fragrances, and jewelry.

"Atelier Macri," which has been selling eyewear and perfume in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, is transforming into a place that’s even more intriguing than before.

The second and third floors of the building, which was completed in 1960, have been renovated and will reopen on Saturday, September 26, as “Atelier Macri Commons,” a mixed-use facility featuring jewelry, eyewear, and a gallery.

While the first floor retains its existing layout, the upper floors feature new retail spaces focused primarily on jewelry. 〈AVM〉, 〈MAISON KANOKOGI〉, 〈GICLAT〉, 〈KANOE〉, 〈MASATO INOUE〉, 〈tmh. jewelry〉, 〈shisui〉, 〈mayuokamatsu〉, 〈Monica Castiglioni〉, and 〈stones stone zoo〉.

From pieces you’d choose to mark life’s milestones—such as engagement rings—to everyday jewelry, this promises to be a place where you can discover “the things that matter most to a person” from a perspective quite different from that of eyewear or perfume.

Another highlight is the flagship store of *RIMLESS TOKYO*. Opened in March 2026, it offers a wide selection of original eyewear from this brand, which is known for its rimless designs.

Izumi Kan x Atelier Macri Commons Limited Edition Fragrance “Research on Olfactive Display ∃ Hz” ￥33,000

In addition, the installation “Research on Olfactive Display II” by artist Kan Izumi will open on the first day. This work explores how invisible scents can be perceived and presented within a space, unfolding two states—“moisture” and “dryness”—throughout the venue. The exhibition runs through Saturday, October 31. To coincide with this exhibition, a limited edition of 15 bottles of fragrance—created as a “moisture” that visitors can take home from the venue—will also be available.
