A vest made from Alpha Direct fabric—designed by Fuinam in collaboration with Iijima Mountain Lodge—that can be worn in the city.

This knit vest was born out of the Fuinam editorial team’s desire for a versatile piece of clothing that can be worn anytime, whether outdoors or in a business setting. We commissioned “Yamaso Iijima,” a mountaineering gear shop in Kichijoji, to make it for us.

The fabric features “Polartec Alpha Direct,” which offers excellent breathability and insulation. It is manufactured at a Japanese factory trusted by “Yamaso Iijima.”

The silhouette is inspired by classic, traditional styles. It features a drawcord at the hem, allowing you to adjust the length to your preference.

We named it the “Meeting Vest” because its minimalist design makes it suitable for wearing to meetings with clients and other such occasions. It will fit right in not only in the mountains and around town, but also in business settings.
