Shintaro Sakamoto is the mastermind behind Yurayura Teikoku, a band that attracted the whole of Japan with its rock, avant-garde, and disastrous sound. After disbanding the band for the overly graceful reason that "Yurayura Teikoku was completely finished," Sakamoto released three solo works: "How to be with Phantom," "Let's Dance Nama de Odori," and "If Possible, Love. All of them were of high quality, with a faint whiff of popularity, and all of them were filled with a sense of life and death and love, filling the listener with a sense of fulfillment.
On the other hand, Shintaro Sakamoto has remained silent about his live activities in Japan. However, he unleashed his first live performance as a solo artist at "WEEK-END FEST#7" held in Cologne, Germany last month. The members are Shintaro Sakamoto (guitar & vocals), AYA (bass & chorus), Yuta Suganuma (drums & chorus), Toru Nishiuchi (sax & flute) as guest player, and Hiroshi Futami as DJ. This is the strongest lineup of the members who produced the album.
The fact that they have decided to appear in front of their fans means that something has changed in their minds at this time. A valuable message will surely be released through the performance.
