This event started when "Reshop" purchased all the remaining WEP jackets from "ISNES". The WEP jackets (a.k.a. G-8s) have been a favorite on the street scene, and now ISNES has redesigned them in a big silhouette.
The outer fabric is a water-repellent, lightweight, windproof nylon/cotton blend. The padding has been removed for casual wear like a coach jacket, and it has been updated to all-season, all-weather city wear.
Also available for this pop-up event is a special big-size sweatshirt with a rubber print on the front with a logo inspired by US ARMY training wear. The brilliant idea of turning over six Camber sweatshirts that had been lying around in stock and making them inside out is truly remarkable.
In addition, a limited number of sweatshirts, the fruit of the technology of Kume Textile Industry, a cut-and-sew production company that insists on Japanese production, and the ideas of "IZNESS," are now available.
It is indeed difficult to skillfully use archives and evolve them to keep up with the current trends of the times. I applaud both of them for doing it so smoothly. The pop-up store, a must for those who love this type of item, will be open until November 20 (Mon.).
