Indian rugs are a traditional Navajo craft with over 100 years of history in the vast New Mexico. These nostalgic textiles are made by artisans called "weavers.
The Navajo people handcraft every step of the process, from raising the sheep to spinning the yarn and weaving the rugs. Only craftsmen with proven skills are allowed to trade in these rugs, and the most skilled craftsmen are called "Master Weavers. Incidentally, Indian rugs are also used as rugs, but the most valuable ones are often classified as tapestries (wall hangings).
The "Trading Post", which manages the trading of rag rugs, is subject to the most rigorous screening and inspections , and is the only one of its kind in the world.TOADLENA TRADING POST. will invite "Master Weaver" Pamela Brown to Japan for a weaving show, where she will actually weave the rugs.
