What shape is time?
In the modern perception, time is considered to be a "linear" thing that leads straight from the past to the future. Analog clocks, on the other hand, suggest a "circular" shape of time, rotating on the same orbit each day, linked to a 24-hour time interval.
This time, [Joon] and [Seo-yeon] were the first to be selected for theHender SchemeThe collaboration between G-Shock and G-Shock combines the physical time (i.e., the change of leather over time) with the solid and accurate information time of a digital watch face.

. We create products that can only be realized through collaboration. This is a concept that Enda Schema has long been conscious of when it comes to collaboration. This time, in collaboration with Casio's G-Shock, which is determined to overturn its 35-year history, a completely new model was born, combining the body of a G-Shock with a leather belt made by "Enderskima.

The case itself is based on the DW-5600 and has a minimalist design with the brand logo and functions engraved on the back of the case.

The digital display tells the precise time, while the vegetable-tanned leather belt tells the time as it ages. Two time axes. . Not only is it a simply beautiful product, but we feel that there is a thick layer of thought hidden in it.

This is the first time in the 35-year history of G-Shock that a genuine leather band has been used. In order to create a robust leather belt that matches its durability, pit-tanned cowhide leather was used by a tannery in Himeji, Japan.
The process of tanning is called "pit-tanning", in which the leather is soaked in a pit and gently tanned, instead of the usual process of tanning in a drum, resulting in a sturdy leather with full fibers. The color and texture of the leather belt, sewn by hand, will change with each use.

. The photo above shows the change that about two months of time has brought about over the years. The collaboration between Enda Schema, which continues to manufacture products based on the idea that "a product is only complete when it is used," and the tough and sophisticated G-Shock, the pride of Japan, maximizes the appeal of each by taking an unprecedented approach to the concept of time.
It will go on sale on January 3, 2018 (Wednesday) at Sukima (online shop only) and at Enderschema stores in Japan and abroad. Don't miss out on the first item on sale for the first time .
