A group exhibition "Story" will be held by a photographer, a ceramic artist, and an interior designer, creators from different industries, and it looks like a lot of fun.
The members are Hiroko Matsubara (photographer), SHINO TAKEDA (ceramic artist), and THE MAY CHAN (interior designer).
The theme of this exhibition is to focus on the "joy of decorating.
The three, who say they are like family to each other, discover the "beauty," "fun," and "excitement" that arise in their daily lives, and create items using techniques they are familiar with as creators. By freely "decorating" these items as interior decorations, we believe that they will add a bit of enrichment and stimulation to our daily lives.
In this exhibition, Hiroko Matsubara will exhibit her original prints and large posters taken on the theme of flowers, New York-based SHINO TAKEDA will exhibit his Yakishime (pottery fired at high temperatures without glaze) that faces nature, and THE MAY CHAN will exhibit furniture such as a study desk designed like an art piece. The lively lineup also includes furniture made in collaboration with THE MAY CHAN using colorful tiles by SHINO TAKEDA, and a selection of fragrances that Hiroko Matsubara shared with this event "Story.
Oya Coffee Roasting Shop will have a stall in the exhibition hall. They will serve egg sandwiches, espresso, and natural wine. This event is sure to be a welcome respite from the hectic year-end season.
