LAD MUSICIANhas unveiled the image visuals for its Spring/Summer 2018 collection. The theme is "MAYBE A PAINTER OR A MUSICIAN.
The creations, which use a lot of dark colors throughout, are eye-catching rose-patterned items that are inspired by 19th century paintings. In addition, a variety of freehand graphic T-shirts incorporating the freehand techniques of Cy Twombly, a painter famous for his improvisational abstract paintings and drawings works, are also featured.
The sources of inspiration for this collection include the French critic and thinker Roland Barthes' book "The Art Theory Book" and the well-known art historian Michio Hayashi's book "Painting Dies Twice, or Never Dies". ." The collection is a skillful incorporation of art elements that could only come from a "rad musician.
. Also, a blouson, parka, and pants with several random messages in small letters, although it is hard to tell from the photo. . This was inspired by a sound source under the name Altar of Flies by Swedish experimental musician Mattias Gustafsson. The clothes express the music genre of noise, which has been an essential part of designer Yuichi Kuroda's work in recent years.
The visuals, featuring boys and expressing the world of the collection, have a somewhat fragile mood. It seems as if they are trying to appeal to the viewers. Keep your eyes on the "Rad Musician" collection.
