Omotesando "Omotesando" is a gallery that edits and transmits the primitive value of "new and interesting" in a variety of forms.ROCKET." The first exhibition for the New Year is "1993," curated by Mariko Kobayashi, a photographer born in 1993.
The special exhibition will be held for two consecutive weeks, as all 30 participating creators were born in 1993, which will be 25 years old in 2018.
The first week will premiere music videos featuring musicians, photographers, filmmakers, models, and actors born in 1993. Daigo Sakuragi (D.A.N), MONJOE(DATS/yahyel), Shukei Tamaki and Seijun Kato (MIZ) and others provided original music, while photographer Yoko Kusano, filmmaker UMMMI. and others created the videos. In all, three music videos were created.
In the second week, the spatial image is changed to showcase photographs taken from different angles during the shooting of the above music video by photographers Yoko Kusano, Ryutaro Izaki, and Mariko Kobayashi, who were also born in 1993.
In addition, an original magazine with a CD of songs, edited and produced under the theme of 1993 birth year, will be on sale. The contents include a conversation between Daigo Sakuragi and Yoko Kusano, a beauty project by hair and makeup artists ken nagasaka and Mikuri Tago, and a fashion project by Ritoko Karita, designer of the fashion brand "Rin Rika," and Shota Tamada, designer of "TTT.
They are both adults and children. Feeling in the midst of a transitional period, these 25-year-olds born in 1993 sometimes surprise you with their mature creations.
