Kim Jones has been instrumental in adding a new essence to the world of fashion through his knowledge of street culture, including collaborations with Supreme and Hiroshi Fujiwara's Fragment Design. He is also credited with bringing Louis Vuitton to the attention of a younger generation.
And the Fall/Winter 2018 collection was the culmination of his work. Compared to last season, the collection was more tailored and chic, but with a touch of street style, including accessories such as a satchel. The items printed with motifs of the earth and trees were also impressive and somewhat avant-garde.
There was also the surprise appearance of Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. We are anxious to see his next departure, but let us first pay tribute to his feat as he turned his back on the runway with a wave of his hand and a clean slate. Below is an excerpt from the look.
