Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL), the Indian subsidiary of Honda Motor Corporation, recently unveiled the world premiere of the new AMAZE at the 14th Delhi Auto Expo 2018. The model is expected to be launched in India by the end of this year.
This new model is the second generation. The first generation was the BRIO AMAZE, which was launched in 2012 based on the BRIO, a compact hatchback model developed for the Asian market, and has steadily gained recognition in the Thai and Indian markets. Therefore, the second generation of the BRIO AMAZE was developed as a compact sedan with the features of a premium sedan one class above in the Indian market.
The newly developed platform is used to create a sophisticated sedan style with a compact body size of less than 4 meters in length, yet it has a spacious and roomy interior and ample trunk space. . Of course, it also ensures excellent driving performance and a comfortable ride, while employing the latest safety technologies.
Although it is only a sedan, it has a body volume that could be called an SUV, so it is expected to be in demand in active scenes. It will be launched in India first, but it will not be long before it is available in Japan.
