The new label "SURROUND" by Kentaro Fukuda, designer of "GOOD OL'," and Tetsuya Nagato, art director of "GOOD OL'," has made its debut with much anticipation.
Nagato has designed jackets and directed music videos for Japan's top artists, book direction for Undercover and KIJIMA TAKAYUKI, and directed documentary clips for last year's "sacai" and "Undercover" shows. He also directed a documentary clip of the "sacai" and "Undercover" shows held last year. On the other hand, as an artist, he creates collages, photographs, and video works, which he has exhibited in solo and group shows.
Surround" sublimates Nagato's designs into fashion items under the supervision of "GOOD OL's". The unique worldview created by the collage of artwork and skillful print work sets the brand apart from today's trends.
