At the 9th edition of "Sault Hermès" held in March this year, it was announced that steeplechase rider Karen Pauly became the first Japanese rider to be chosen as a partner rider of "Hermès". Karen is now 26 years old. Born in Tokyo, she grew up in the United States and graduated from Yale University. She has been riding since she was a child, and during her school years, she managed to combine her studies with her equestrian career. Last year, she became the first Japanese rider to win the International Equestrian Federation's official CSI 5* competition (international steeplechase competition) held in Florida.
Hermès has 20 partner riders, including Cullen. The Maison, which was originally founded as a harness workshop, continues to produce high quality products while supporting the riders and incorporating their opinions into product development.
Equestrian is one of the Olympic sports. Why not take this opportunity to look at Karen, who is aiming for the 2020 Tokyo Games?
