This is the twelfth installment of this project, which has been a regular monthly Series since April 2017. We have introduced a variety of people's staples. This time, we would like to introduce you to the recently releasedMy Jeep®,My Life: How I live with my Jeep®. vol.23Yusuke Hanai is an artist who is now attracting attention from all over the world, following his work in "The Art of the Japanese Artist," "The Art of the Japanese Artist," and "The Art of the Japanese Artist," among many others. In this article, we introduce some of Mr. Hanai's special personal items.
Yusuke Hanai / Artist
Born in 1978 in Kanagawa , Japan, he began exhibiting his work at "The Surf Gallery" in Long Beach, California in 2005. The following year, he began participating in the gallery's "The Happening" art show, and has exhibited in New York, Sydney, Tokyo, London, and Paris. 2017 saw the release of "Ordinary People," a collection of his work. He has also attracted attention for his artwork for prestigious brands such as "Vans" and "Gregory.
For this issue, he showed us items that he always carries in his car when he goes to the beach, focusing on surfing, which is his main hobby. As Hanai is influenced by American culture, please take a look at his personal items, mainly American items, which are simple yet have a hint of American culture.

This model is the Anaheim Factory Collection, created in 2016 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the brand. It looks classic, but the "ULTRA CUSH" insole provides cushioning for easy walking.

'This is a collection of my work that I released in April 2017 . Thanks to your support, the first edition of 1,000 copies were sold out, and this is the second edition. It was self-published, so it was a lot of work, but it contains over 100 of my past works. If you have a chance, please take a look."

Basically, I carry a "Gregory" bag wherever I go. I recently purchased this model, but when I was in high school, I used to adore the purple tag (laughs). I have used many different brands of bags, but I like Gregory because it is easy to use and tough.

. I received this sunscreen from an acquaintance when I visited California. People say that sunscreens in general are harmful to the ocean, but this brand is safe to use because it only uses organic materials."
Sunglasses from Nothing and Company , sunglass case from Made Solid
. a brand born in Long Beach, California, called Nothing and Company. I own several pairs of sunglasses from this brand alone, but in the end, I always end up using this authentic model. The case is also made by a friend of mine at Made Solid, a leather craft brand from California.
Rubbermaid Bucket
. it's the bucket I always take to the beach. . After surfing, I put my dirty wetsuit in it, and when I play in the ocean with my children, I use it as a bathtub to wash my sand-covered body. Pendleton," which has a history of more than 150 years, is another must-have brand for me as an American lover. The large size makes it useful as a rug at the beach and other places. It is indispensable when I go surfing or to the beach with my children.
Clean Canteen water bottle
." "I try to carry a water bottle as much as possible, since using a plastic bottle means producing plastic waste. I usually carry water in it, but recently I have been filling it with herbal tea to prevent allergies. It keeps the water quite warm."
