
Did you know that from 1983 to 1999, there was a record store called "WAVE" in the area where Roppongi Hills stands today, which also included a movie theater and a studio?
The eight-story building was filled with music and video content, and at the time, it was unique in that it was a place for the fashion-conscious to relax and was undeniably a cultural crossroads.
To pay tribute to the famous restaurants that have sadly disappeared , and toMr. Gentleman (MISTERGENTLEMAN)The designers Takeshi Osumi and Yuichi Yoshii of the "WAVE" brand have started a project called "WAVE," borrowing the name "WAVE" from the "WAVE" brand.


As the first phase of the project, pop-up stores will be held at "MISTERGENTLEMAN Aoyama" and "THE CONTEMPORARY FIX Kyoto" from April 28, ( Sat ) to May 6, ( Sun ), with items from "Mr. Gentleman The stores will sell items from the capsule collection, which also appeared in the latest runway show of "Mr. Gentleman".

In addition to items decorated with the "WAVE" logo, there are also items printed with the text of the "New Space for Sound and Image" concept that was used in the store's 1983 opening announcement. All items are available in three colors.
Those who once attended "WAVE" will wear it while digging up memories, and the new generation of young people will wear it while imagining the good old culture. These limited edition items may be more likely to be touched by those who have such thoughts.
