JAPANESE PAPER SERIES
PAPER "TSURI" KNIT is used. The filament paper is made by twisting 1 mm wide Japanese paper with fibers intertwined in a complex manner, so it is stronger than cotton yarn and can be washed at home. The stiffness and low elongation make it a difficult material to make into a fabric, but by knitting slowly at low speed using an old hang knitting machine, we have created a superb fabric that has both the crisp stiffness of paper and the fullness of a hang knitting machine.
ORGANIC WOOL TROPICAL SERIES
The wool is taken from sheep raised in Argentina on pastures that have not been exposed to chemicals for more than three years. As a result, the sheep's own immune system is able to cope with diseases and parasites, and it is said that the sheep's natural resistance is enhanced to produce healthy wool. Yarn-dyed tropicals are created with 60 twin yarns, which are specially ordered using this wool. The fabric has a good texture because it is woven using a low-speed Schonghel loom to reduce the load on the yarn. The stiff fibers create a breathable fabric with open spaces, making it cool and comfortable even during the spring and summer seasons.
