Born in Tokyo in 1947, photographer Masahiro Nogami was influenced by hippie culture during his impressionable years and began taking photographs of musicians after interacting with Haruomi Hosono during his college years. The jacket of Happi Beyond's famous album "Kazemachi Romain" is one of Nogami's best-known works.





The "BLUE : TOKYO 1968-1972" exhibition at BIOTOP will feature 40 photos selected from over 4,000 photos included in Nogami's iPad photo book app "Snapshot Diary" released in 2014. The exhibition will feature 40 photos re-selected from the vast collection of more than 4,000 photos included in Nogami's 2014 iPad photo book app "Snapshot Diary.


In addition to the exhibition, a newly edited photo book will be published and a limited number of T-shirts will be available for purchase.
