Takahiro Yasuda works in a wide range of fields as a graphic designer and movie director. His edgy expression is expressed through his work for music artists, advertisements, and product design.
We are expanding our activities in a wide variety of fields.
Using a single tool, the computer, he takes a variety of approaches to his work. His designs, which appear to be sharp and playful, or simple and monotonous, but are intricately layered with lines and surfaces, reflect his thinking and the beauty of computer graphics (CG) in their composition.
The work is like layering paints on a canvas, and the artist continues to challenge how to express it materially within the framework of computer graphics, and even makes us feel as if he is questioning how it should be done.
This project focuses on the act of seeing. All the things we casually look at every day lead to the development of our personality, and as we interact with others, we implicitly seek and are asked to cooperate and understand the context. He also realized that he was in a situation where he felt as if he was being tested in whatever he chose to do, and that he was being watched by what he saw, as if he simply could not say he liked what he saw.
This exhibit features a wide range of works on the theme of interest in and influence of "seeing/being seen." The exhibition will run from November 11, ( Fri ) to December 1, ( Thu ). An opening reception with the artist will be held on November 11, ( Fri ) from 19:00 to 22:00, so please come and visit. By the way, Yasuda-san is 189.5 cm tall.
