Rhythm Tribe, which has a store in the beach area of Shonan Hiratsuka, offers clothing and lifestyle goods with a hint of the American West Coast. When the store celebrated its first anniversary in April this year, it released items in collaboration with Charlie Stanton, owner of Los Angeles-based boutique Virgil Normal, which has become well known in Japan.
A special event will be held to celebrate the first anniversary of Rhythm Tribe.
Andy Brown, a painter based in Phoenix, Arizona, will be visiting Japan to paint live at this event.
His works are characterized by peacefulness and warmth, with motifs such as smiley faces, happy faces, and cacti. He is a specialist who has created visuals for the "San Francisco Museum of Modern Art," the "Hard Rock Café in Las Vegas," and the "Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Each ¥6,000+TAX
After unveiling a work celebrating the first anniversary at the store on Saturday, June 2, a live painting will be held on Sunday, June 9, using a mural at "Netz Toyota Shonan Hiratsuka Nishi Store".
Andy Brown's new T-shirts from his original brand "SLEISURE," which can only be seen at "Rhythm Tribe" in Japan, will also be released, so be sure to check them out.
This is an anniversary event that concentrates the unique local "DIY" style. If you live nearby, it is worth a visit.
