The world's attention has been focused on the joint presentation of the men's and women's collections on the runway, but for the 2019 Spring/Summer season, a stand-alone men's runway show will finally be held in New York City.
The location chosen for the runway show was the United States, a place familiar to many of us from the launch party for Saint Laurent's signature perfume, Opium, in 1977. The changes in the way the collection was presented and the place where it was held indicate that there have been changes in Vaccarello's creativity. We may see a pleasing change in the designer's mindset, who is able to sense the subtleties of the world in a colorful and delicate way, as it directly affects the finish of the runway itself.
Starting tomorrow, Thursday, June 7, at 10:00 a.m. Japan time. (Local time starts at 9:00 p.m. on the 6th). The live streaming will start as soon as the countdown finishes on the screen above. Be sure to witness the departure of the new "Saint Laurent" in real time.
