Friday, June 29,Ray-Banwill open its first directly-managed store in Japan. The location is along Shibuya Park Avenue in Tokyo. The store will be located along Shibuya Koen-dori Avenue in Tokyo, and will feature a store design based on the brand's key colors of red and black, and the store will consist of one floor.
The store will carry the entire Ray-Ban eyewear lineup, which now numbers more than 900 different types, and will also include products that are only available at the Shibuya store and a kids' collection. In addition, for the first time in Japan, Ray-Ban will offer genuine lenses and sunglass lenses with prescription lenses. Both of these lenses are original lenses with the Ray-Ban logo, and many people may have been waiting for these lenses.
To commemorate the opening, a limited edition "Wayfarer" will be available exclusively at the Shibuya store. One is a model with the words "TOKYO" and "SHIBUYA" engraved on the inside of the temples. The other is a collaboration model with the Martinez Brothers, a DJ unit popular in the New York club scene.

At the Shibuya store, customers can also order "Remix" customized sunglasses, which are only available online, while viewing the actual product.
