Paris Men's Fashion Week was held from June 20 to 24. The highlight of this year's event was definitely theLOUIS VUITTONIt was.

The front row across the long, straight runway included Kanye West, Kim Jones, Kim Kardashian, Naomi Campbell, Rihanna, Asap Rocky, Takashi Murakami, and many others. Fashion lovers from all over the world, as well as industry insiders, took notice of Virgil Abloh's first collection as the new Men's Artistic Director.

Presented were 56 gems.

The collection, which began with a beautiful white double-breasted suit, featured hooded parkas, work-style jackets, used jeans, and many other garments with the street taste that Virgil is known for. In addition, there were iconic jackets and vests with three-dimensional pockets on the chest and sleeves, and playful bags with chains.

In addition to the overall relaxed form of the clothes, almost all of the models' feet were in sneakers. Virgil was also unique in that the 17 white styles that appeared at the beginning of the show were all black models.

The pressure on Virgil to take Kim Jones' place must have been unimaginable. After the show, the first thing Virgil did when he came out on the runway was to visit his best friend, Kanye. The sight of her shedding tears with him, who knew the hardships she had gone through, said it all.

Now that the boundary between luxury and street fashion has been broken down, how will Virgil affect not only Louis Vuitton, but fashion as a whole?
