Held once a month since its launch in March of this year, it has become a hot topic of conversation as it features artists who have attracted attention in the independent scene.
The curator for the ninth event, to be held on Wednesday, November 9, is Petit Cocolot, a music production company with expertise in French music, as in previous years. The musician chosen is a half-Japanese-French female singer-songwriter,Mayka Lubute.He began writing lyrics at the young age of 14, and in recent years has performed live with Keiichi Suzuki and Naruyoshi Kikuchi. This August, he released his new album "Le Zip.
The sound is reminiscent of the French "cold wave" music scene that Agnès b. was involved with in the early 1980s, and is pop music with a cute and somewhat fragile voice using synthesizers. It is the kind of music that once you hear it, you will become addicted to it.
On the day of the event, a CD and booklet, exclusive to this event, will be sold as a set. The booklet features an impressive photo of the adorable Maika dressed in "agnès b."
