Unisex brand from GermanyPOLYPLOIDwill launch this season. Designer Isolde Auguste Richley has a background of more than 10 years working as a designer and patterner for European fashion brands, mainly in Germany.
A notable feature of this brand is the way the items are developed. By developing the same pattern in three different materials and colors, the brand takes an experimental approach to product depth and breadth.
All of the styles are divided into three categories, A, B, and C. A is made in only one color, raw silk, inspired by tailored toile, B is made in two colors, and C is made in three colors, with each category using a completely different material and number of colors. Take jackets, for example.

For the first collection, the brand presented a total of 48 items, narrowing the number of base items down to eight. This season, a long coat made of oil-coated fabric and wool from the British company Miralain and a jacket and pants set-up made of corduroy were produced. Not only are different colors and fabrics used for different categories of clothing, but they are also produced according to the origin of the materials. European materials are sewn in Germany, while items made from Japanese materials are made in Japan.
The full lineup and details on stores nationwide will be available on the official website from August 25 (Sat). To commemorate the debut, an exhibition and sale focusing on the "NATURALI" collection will be held at "Graphpaper" in Omotesando from September 1 (Sat.). The designer will also be at the store from 12:00 pm to dusk on the first day. Don't miss it.
