A select store born this yearTHE LIBRARYHave you ever heard of the "ILEVE" store? This store offers a wide range of clothing, accessories, sundries, and books selected from Japan and abroad, including Margaret Howell, Sunspel, and the women's brand ILEVE, which started in the 2018 spring/summer season, for both men and women. In addition to the four stores in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo, Tenjin, Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe, a new store will open in Omotesando on September 8 (Sat).
. The tabloid presented here was published by "THE LIBRARY" on September 1, 2012. It is a collaboration with Rosemarie Ovalsen, an art director and illustrator based in Paris, and features a work written especially for this tabloid on the front page. Ovalsen is known for her abstract works using a variety of techniques, including collage, drawing, and printmaking, and has worked for Hermès and Cartier.
In addition to a rare interview with her, one of the highlights of the issue is an article focusing on brands and products carried in THE LIBRARY. This issue features the bag brand "Aeta" and the book "Artek and the Aaltos : Creating a Modern World," which is a compilation of the achievements of Finnish architect Alvar Aalto and his wife, Aino Aalto. The book was written by Yusuke Nakajima , director of the bookshop POST.
Tabloids are being distributed free of charge at "THE LIBRARY" stores. They will continue to collaborate with different artists and publish it once every six months. Please check it out while you are shopping.
