Ken Kashima, founder of the select store "FREAK'S STORE," has traveled by car without a fixed place to stay throughout the U.S., and has compiled a collection of artwork and souvenirs that can only be found locally, for an exhibition and pop-up store called "FREAK'S STORE Shibuya. The exhibition and pop-up shop will be held at the gallery attached to the "Freaks Store Shibuya" from September 15 (Sat) to October 8 (Mon).
The theme for this fifth installment is "BLOWIN' IN THE WIND. The exhibition will feature works photographed by Mr. Kashima with his own camera, starting from New Orleans, Louisiana, the birthplace of jazz, to various events he encountered during his time in Texas, the neighboring state.
In addition, local souvenirs and other items that are not easily seen in Japan will be available for sale.
The people, things, and things that Mr. Kashima encountered on his 5,000-kilometer journey. The reality of America is packed in this book. If you like America, it is worth a look.
