The project is called "THE GYMNASIUM.
It all started last summer when a design and product development joint venture, "BLUE ON BLUEThe project started with a request to see what could be done with the materials from the gymnasium, which was scheduled for demolition. The Acme Furniture staff visited the site and checked the gymnasium floor, and found that the flooring was made of cherry wood that had changed color over the years and had a gentle texture. We brought it back to the factory, where it was handcrafted by our own artisans and reconstructed into furniture. New life was breathed into the furniture.

The grain of this wood and the lines that were drawn on the gymnasium give it a very nostalgic feel, don't you think? All items are limited and the earlier the better.
In addition, a pop-up store will be held at the Acme Furniture Jiyugaoka store to commemorate the launch of this new project. On the first day of the pop-up store, the representative of "blue on blue," Ms. Jeelin Hsu, and other craftsmen who actually made the custom pieces will be present at the store.
