A beautiful scene of white and blue. This is a new work by Yoshihiro Makino that captures the White Sands of New Mexico in a minimalist manner.

Yoshihiro Makino, a photographer specializing in interiors, landscapes, and documentary portraiture, will hold a new exhibition, "Dune Portraiture.

White dunes photographed at White Sands, New Mexico, which I visited on my trip. I was first overwhelmed by the beautiful white world and the beauty of nature's formations.

With virtually no rainfall throughout the year, winters in White Sands are covered with dry gypsum crystals, creating a fantastic sight that seems not to be Earth at all.

A world of silence where all life seems to have ceased. Please take a look at the original painting of this magnificent blue and white landscape.
