SHOTA "PAULO" SHINJOA photo exhibition "KIYOKU" by YUICHI TOYAMA is currently being held at THE LOBBY TOKYO, a showroom owned by YUICHI TOYAMA, one of the main brands of Okayama Megane Shop.
This exhibition presents works that were shuttered as they went along, under the theme of "Kiyoku (desire). The works are a myriad of shades of gray that exist between black and white, as if to tell us that all of them are of equal value. Scenes that were once "recorded" gradually emerge in the dark room, bringing back "memories. Nothing seems to have changed, yet nothing has changed. The "kiyoku" (desire to write) repeats itself today.
There will be delicious coffee and drinks available for take-out at the venue, so why not relax and enjoy the show with a drink in hand?
