In this fall/winter collection[Claire] Lanvin.has reevaluated classical fabrics and craftwork.
A parka blending various fabrics: wool with shadow stripes, wool knit lining, technical fabric on the sleeves and back... A wool alpaca knit vest with an asymmetrical silhouette with an added part on the right side of the body, The drop-shoulder wool coat has no lining and is lighter and more comfortable than it looks. The fact that these witty designs are playful is due to the fact that they are based on a solid manufacturing process.
It is not unusual for a design approach to go back to the basics and reinterpret them with a modern sensibility. Creative director Luca Ossendrijver, who dares to stand on a stage that was thought to have been done to death, and who is capable of making an impression, is certainly no ordinary person.
It has been a little more than ten years since Luca became the designer of Lanvin. Since then, he has never once disappointed connoisseurs. Is it possible that Luca's drawer never runs dry?
