Today, men's health is said to be at risk. About 5.6 million men have prostate cancer or have experienced prostate cancer. They also say that many young lives are lost to testicular cancer. And every year, 500,000 men take their own lives. The average life expectancy of men is 6 years less than that of women.... Too many men die young.
ORIS, the prestigious Swiss watchmaker and mechanical watch brand with a worldwide fan base, has teamed up with the Movember Foundation, the world's leading men's health charity, in an effort to prevent this serious problem. Through the sale of the Oris Movember Crew and the new Oris Movember Edition, the brand is raising 100,000 Swiss francs (CHF) for the charity.
Founded in 2003, The Movember Foundation is an organization that focuses on health issues facing men, and every November men grow beards and raise money to support 1,200 health projects around the world. The event is supported worldwide and is known to be supported by many celebrities from the worlds of sports, comedy, and fashion.
This activity is, of course, open to all Huinam readers.movember.comand follow the link to the "Oris Movember Crew" to apply. This project is designed to improve men's lives. Check out the site first.
