Toyama Takuro is a photographer who has worked for a variety of media, including HOUYHNHNM, GINZA, and Studio Voice. He is also known for his portraits and tour photos of Mitsume, a four-piece band with a passionate fan base in Japan and other Asian countries.
Toyama's photo exhibition "Everything reminds" will be held at the select store "offshore" in Harajuku, Tokyo, from November 3 (Sat). The works on display include light streaming in through a window, the surface of the sea as seen from an airplane, boys eating pizza, . . Although the subjects vary, the photographs are as realistic as if they were taken from Toyama's daily life.
In addition to the photo exhibit, posters and T-shirts will be on sale. In addition, an acoustic live performance by Naota Kaneko of the band Teen Runnings will be held at the opening reception on the first day of the exhibition. While you enjoy shopping at "offshore," check out Toyama's work.
