New Jewelry 2018" is a festival that brings together highly acclaimed jewelry brands from Japan and abroad. The event is currently being held at 3331 Arts Chiyoda, an art space in Tokyo's Chiyoda Ward, to rave reviews.
This event started in 2010. It is an exhibition and sales event that presents outstanding jewelry in terms of design and craftsmanship to the general public, regardless of genre or category.
The number of visitors grows each year as they can hear directly from the participating creators about the concepts and particulars of their works. Last year, 8,000 people from all over Japan visited the venue over the three days.
This year's notable point is the Bridal Zone, which attracted much attention last year, where 16 popular brands of bridal rings, headdresses, corsages, and other items for the bridal scene will be gathered. Visitors can experience a rare opportunity to place a semi-custom order while enjoying conversation with the designers.
