In recent years, saunas have been featured in many TV programs and magazines. Sauna enthusiasts, or "sauna-ers," have been appearing one after another, further accelerating the boom in sauna use.
From January 19 (Sat) to March 17 (Sun) next year, an event proposing ways to enjoy saunas in winter will be held with the support of Corona Beer, a well-known Mexican beer.
This will be the second time for this event. This year's event will again be held at Shimokitazawa Cage, an event park located a 2-minute walk from Shimokitazawa Station.
After sweating profusely in a special outdoor tent with a Finnish-style "wax" (the home of saunas), visitors can take a relaxing soak in the adjacent water bath and enjoy the breeze in the outdoor air...repeating this routine will provide the ultimate relaxing experience.
Afterward, quenching your thirst with a cold Corona beer is truly exceptional. Also, enjoy sauna food by "Lon Va Kuan," an Asian food stall located in the venue.
This is a valuable opportunity to prepare your mind and body through three different ways of entering the sauna, water bath, and outdoor air bath. Saunas and beginners alike are welcome to try this experience.
