Graphics, silkscreen prints, and painting. Although Ryuji Kamiyama's methods of expression vary, traces of his hands and a hint of the street can be felt in all of them. Kamiyama's solo exhibition "SOMEWHERE" will be held at TAGSTÅ GALLERY in Fukuoka.
SOMEWHERE" carries the theme of "painting to travel. When Mr. Kamiyama asked himself where he should head next, Fukuoka came to mind.

Ryuji Kamiyama
Born in Tokyo, 1972. Designer / Silkscreen artist / Painter
In the early 90's, he entered the world of clothing from the graphic industry and worked for 10 years in Uraharajuku as "FAMOUZ", a brand focusing on hand-printed T-shirts, remakes of vintage clothing, and handmade works. After the activities, he started his art activities centering on live painting on the streets and in public places, and held exhibitions in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Scandinavia, etc., starting with a solo exhibition in Nakameguro, Tokyo, in 2003. He has left behind wall paintings and silk screen works in Japan and abroad. In recent years, under the name of BlANKS, he has continued to work on projects to revitalize B objects (ceramics/glass) and to paint corporate showrooms, windows, and murals.
