For more than 30 years, he has been photographing skaters, rappers, and many other artists on the streets,Ali Markopolos. Although independent, the group's activities are diverse and have made a name for itself around the world.
He will hold a signing at the art floor of "Daikanyama Tsutaya" on December 21 (Fri.).
The zine, which was produced for this event, documents the artist's daily travels in New York, Paris, and Beirut over a period of three months. The intimate yet serene objectivity of the work is often expressed in black-and-white copies, and this is reflected clearly in the zine.
Ali Markopolos' photographs offer a simple, lo-fi, yet densely sophisticated view of the world. Capacity is limited to only 24 people, so those interested are advised to check back soon.
