“DieselThe world's first solo exhibition by JUN INAGAWA, "Magical Girl DESTROYERS (Moe)," will be held at the Diesel Art Gallery in Shibuya, known as one of the places where the world view of the "Magical Girl" is presented, from March 1, 2012.
JUN INAGAWA moved to San Diego, U.S.A. in 2012 and started his career as an artist in Los Angeles, where he began creating works with the keywords "moe and street culture" In 2018, he collaborated with "Diesel" for their brand campaign "HA1TP13 TU)TE COUTURE".
The exhibit will feature more than 20 works depicting the stories of magical girls created to reclaim otaku culture, the Japanese subculture of anime, games, figures, and two-dimensional brides, all of which were eliminated by the "Two Dimensional Exclusion Law. T-shirts and other related goods will be on sale at the venue, and an autograph session will be held on March 30 from 15:00 to 18:00.
