HEAD Yellow Label was launched in 2017 by HEAD, a brand that began as a ski brand and later grew to become an indispensable part of the tennis scene. With Masashi Watanabe of BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS as director, the brand has captured the hearts of many young people with its originality and Tokyo street style.
This time, HEAD YELLOW LABEL has launched a new project that goes even further beyond the boundaries of the label. A design competition in collaboration with Bunka Fashion College will be held.
Under the theme of "HAND CRAFT POLOSHIRT," students of Bunka Fashion College were invited to submit designs based on polo shirts in an effort to discover young artists with free and original ideas. The special jury was comprised of Dr. ROMANELLI, who is well known for his collaborations with SOPHNET. HAND & LOCK, a long-established brand with a 250-year history in London that has embroidered the uniforms of the Kingsguard of Buckingham Palace and the Royal Wedding, was invited to participate in the competition.

What kind of works will be selected by the judging panel of professionals in the field? Designs will be accepted until April 12. The 10 winners will receive a design fee and have their polo shirts actually produced. In addition, the best design will be selected from among them and will receive a cash prize as well as the adoption of the design.
