In 1953, Laurel and Hardy, the comedy duo of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, once loved around the world, began a hall tour in England, but they were already a thing of the past. The treatment was poor and the audience was rattled. They laugh at each other, and as they work hard on their grueling tour around the UK, they eventually win back their fans. However, after an argument one day, Oliver decides to break up the duo and tells Stan that he is retiring.
They are played by comedian Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly, who has appeared in numerous films, including a 2019 Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical (John C. Reilly) and a 2019 British Academy (BAFTA) Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role Award (Steve Coogan) nomination, his performance is beyond reproach.
