Born in 1987, he captures ordinary scenes such as worn-out sneakers and coins on a table.Susumu Hamada, Photographeris currently holding a solo exhibition titled "To the Things That Are Naturally Occurring" at On Sunday's Underground Bookstore in B1, Watari-um Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo.
In the photo book "Looking at different things / Doing the same thing" released last year, photographs, drawings, and three-dimensional works are cut under various lights and locations, and speak to us as fragments of things that exist "naturally".
In this exhibition, he will present a small three-dimensional work, which he created "after a long time since I suddenly thought of it" after the publication of his photo book, and install photographs in a way that the three-dimensional work is gently connected to the three-dimensional work. The exhibited works will be on sale.
