Kazumi Kurigami, born in 1936, is a photographer who continues to take photographs energetically. His strong style of photography, centering on solid portraits with strong shadows of various people, is well known.
On display are images of people gathered and wandering around on a hot summer holiday in Shibuya, a dynamically changing and ever-moving city. About 40 black-and-white works, which were taken by the photographer himself as he wandered around the city, are on display, all taken in a reflective and sensuous manner.
